The Grandmothers Speak - Recent Message

. . .As I stood in front of them, I felt the power of their stone circle. The Grandmothers sat on the ground before me, and as I stepped into their circle, spherical waves began to spin around, drawing me into closer union with them. I heard someone singing, “Where I stand is holy, holy is the ground,” and then the Grandmothers spoke. “Anchor yourself,” they said, “this circle will anchor you.” “Yes, Grandmothers,” I replied and felt the gyrations of the spin drawing me further in. I saw a wine opener–turning and turning, as it screwed itself into the earth, and as I watched, it was I who was becoming deeply fastened to the Mother.



Annual Native American Pow-Wow

[ June 13, 2008 to June 15, 2008. ] Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, located 7 miles south of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on Scenic Highway 23, will host its 10th Annual Native American Pow Wow on Father’s Day weekend, June 13-15, 2008.
